It inhales low temperature and low pressure refrigerant gas from the suction tube, and drives the piston to compress it through the motor operation. After that, the high temperature and high pressure refrigerant gas is discharged to the exhaust pipe to provide power for the refrigeration cycle, so as to realize the refrigeration cycle of compression → condensation (heat release)→ expansion → evaporation (heat absorption).

Compressor includes piston compressor, screw compressor, centrifugal compressor, linear compressor and so on. Piston compressor is generally composed of housing, motor, cylinder block, piston, control equipment (starter and thermal protector) and cooling system. Cooling methods have oil cooling and air cooling, natural cooling three kinds. Linear compressor has no shaft, cylinder block, seal and cooling structure.
